In the previous video, we Liam Shelbourne talked about the forehand skill. In this video, he will be talking about the backhand skill. Again, backhand and forehand skills are the basics of playing tennis. Likewise, there are some things that we need to take note here.

1. Observe that in backhand, you will be holding the racket in the same way that you hold the racket for the backhand. However, it is always advisable that you will be using your two hands to do this. The reason is, hitting the ball with backhand is a lot weaker than hitting it in forehand position.

2. The feet are always ready to hit the ball. Please note that the position will allow the player to be more alert to hit the ball.

3. When hitting the ball, the racket position is still a little bit slanting just as you do it in forehand.

Once you get these two basic skills, forehand and backhand, you can already start your way up for another level of playing tennis.
