Full name is Rafael Nadal Parera.

Nicknamed “Rafa”

Plays left-handed but writes right-handed.

Started playing  at the age 4 with his uncle Toni as his coach.

Started playing using two-hand forehand but his uncle help him changed it at the age of 10 to one-hand forehand.

Played his only junior Grand Slam event at Wimbledon in 2002 and reached SF.
