Mardy FishIs an American professional top tennis player, an expert in the hard-court and happens to be an Olympic silver medalist too.  He is married to Stacy Gardner, an attorney in California.

Fish possesses an all-court game, which is an advantage to most of the tennis players. Only few of them got this skill. He has a very solid serve and unswerving backhand, which considered being his greatest skills. Meanwhile, if he throws a two-handed backhand, this would become his most consistent shot. One of his weaknesses is his forehand yet it has been improved over the long time.

In 2010 however, he made a sudden drop on his weight that is from 203-170 pounds, a 30- pound difference. Because of this weight loss, he is now quicker, much healthier and can survived in much longer rallies.

After his weight loss, he was able to gain confidence that leads him to a breakthrough in his profession. He won an 11 straight matches. He also made it to the Queens Club Finals along with the titles at Newport and Atlanta. At Cincinnati, he stepped forward to finals after overpowering Fernando Verdasco, Andy Murray and Andy Roddick. He was also able to compete in the Grand Slam quarterfinals three times, first at the Australian Open in 2007, then at U.S Open in 2008 and lastly, at the Wimbledon in 2011.

In 2011, he progressed to the semifinals in his first three out of six  tournaments. He also played in the Summer Hard-court season and opened it with 11 wins out of 13 bouts, overcoming John Isner in Atlanta, trampled by Ernests Gulbis in the L.A final and trailing to Novak Djokovic in the Montreal Masters final.

He qualified for the season-ending ATP World Tour finals for the first time in his career and ended this year as the highest-ranked American at No. 8.
